My approach

Growing a family should be an exciting time for couples, but it is often a time full of anxiety and stress. Jenna wants to help alleviate some of the anxiety and stress that comes with trying for a baby, and help make more couples parents to healthy babies.

It’s no secret the wait for couples to get help with fertility is 1 year, which Jenna feels is far too long for any couple to have to wait when going through the emotional process of trying to conceive. Navigating conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, or having to deal with unexplained infertility and recurrent  miscarriage can be daunting and confusing when trying to conceive, that’s why Jenna wants to help educate couples on how dietary and lifestyle changes can improve their chances of getting pregnant naturally, or with assistance, and make the journey as smooth as possible for couples. Nutritional therapy can also help support couples going through IVF and may increase chances of having a successful pregnancy.

With an over-stretched NHS, Jenna feels there isn’t enough support and advice given to new mums about the importance of diet and nutrition for both the mother and baby. There is a critical window known as the “first thousand days”, which is the time from conception to birth. Jenna wants to help educate parents on how they can make a real difference to their child’s long-term health during this window, as well as help mothers get back to a state of optimum health.

Having experienced a traumatic birth, coupled with struggles with breastfeeding, Jenna knows how important the right support can be. so is passionate about supporting mothers and giving them the knowledge and tools they need to recover both physically and mentally after pregnancy and birth, support breastfeeding and raise healthy, happy children.
